I have a chance to preach in one of the oldest church in San Francisco Chinatown, First Chinese Baptist Church. The interior design was so special.

- Lawrence was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduation from College, he began his full time ministry as the Assistant Executive Director of Youth for Christ in Hong Kong. He came to USA in 1981 for theological training at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and began his ministry in Cumberland Presbyterian Chinese Church. Rev. Fung earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from the Seminary. Since then, he had served as the Senior Pastor for that church for twenty some years. Rev. Fung earned his Doctor of Missiology degree from Western Theological Seminary at Portland, Oregon and is serving as Deputy International Director of Resource at Gospel Operation International, who is responsible mainly for mission mobilization and missionary recruitment. Rev. and Mrs. Fung have 2 adult children: Cara (married) and Zenas (single and available).
